Mermaid Finial Box

This is a cute little box made by Meissen in the 20th century. Simple bottom with just a gold trim to the edge and the lid has a really fun finial of a little mermaid to it. Not something I have come across before. Pefect for my wife since she enjoys mermaids :) The mermaid is nicely hand painted in a modern Meissen kind of way. Not sure exactly how old the piece is as there are no impressed nubmers I can see except for some red ones inside the lid. Probably fairly new looking at the style. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue swords mark as shown and the red numbers on the lid. The bottom and lid together are about 2.75 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter.
