Floral & Bird Scene Demitasse Spoon #1

This is a rare demitasse spoon made by Meissen in the 18th century. Superbly modeled with the bowl meant to look like a shell and hand painted with a bird scene to the end of the handle, a tiny flower on the handle itself and a nice floral arrangement to the bowl. Another floral arrangment to the udnerside of the bowl and a small flower to the handle as well as the end of the handle. A bit of gilding to the end of the handle though I believe there used to be gilding to the edge of the bowl as well but that is all gone. A top notch example and amazing that it survived all these years. The piece is in superb condition with some wear to the gilding. The piece is not marked but that is normal on pieces like this from this period and is definitely a Meissen example. The spoon is 4 inches long. The bowl is 1.25 inches long, a bit over 0.75 inches wide and 0.375 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
