Yellow Ground Floral Plate

This is a really nice little plate made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the 20th century. Late 20's early 30's. The plate has a nice shape to the rim with a bit of gilding to the edge, has a superb hand painted floral arrangement on white ground in the center and a really nice looking yellow ground color to the rest of the plate. A bit of fancy gilding around the white ground panel makes for a very elegant plate! One does not see the yellow ground pieces often at all. The plate is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot in between the top parts as well as the usual impressed numbers and a painter's mark 47. in black as shown. The piece is 1 inch tall with a diameter of just under 7 inches. I have the matching cup and saucer set listed as well if anyone is looking for a really nice set. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
