Scenic Snuff Box w/Nice Trim

This is a really superb snuff / patch / pill / tabatiere box made by Meissen around 1750. This is a really nice example in terms of the painting. It has seven hand painted nice quality scenes on it as well as some nice relief scroll work plus this amazing puce trim to fill in the areas that are usually white. Most scenes include multiple people and all are in a landscape surrounding. Only the scene on the udnerside has a single shepherdess with its sheep in it. The mounts are brass and they still work perfectly. The quality of the scenes is superb! The box is in good condition - The bottom has no real issues except a little wear to the underside corners and a tiny chip to the edge. The lid sadly has been broken in half and was restored at some point. Hard to spot on the inside but could use a quick redo to bring it back to perfection! On the outside / top it is visible as a dark line but a decent restorer could make it look perfect again. It's a clean break with almost no dmage to any paint. The box is not marked which is normal but the piece speaks for itself. The snuff box is about 1.625 inches tall, 3.375 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep so a very nice size.
