Swanservice Cup & Saucer w/ Kakiemon Flowers

This is a really nice cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 20th century towards the end of the Pfeiffer period. The set is decorated in relief with their famous swan service including the two swans and the wading and flying birds. A really superb design and here it is combined with the Kakiemon style flowers along the edge as well as some gilding. The cup also has a nice floral design to the bottom inside! The cups sits on six small feet. The set is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot in between the top parts on the saucer and the regular mark after teh Pfeiffer period on the cup so this would date right to the transition time around the mid 1930s. Both also have some impressed, incised and overglaze numbers. The cup is 2 inches tall and 3.375 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter.
