Large Cobalt Blue, Gilding & Floral Vase

This is a really nice large vase made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb cobalt blue ground color with some fancy gilding around the top and has two cartouches hand painted with floral arrangements on white ground surrounded by more fancy gilding. Simplet gold trim to the top ede and along the bottom. A nice looking piece with a great size and having the flowers to the front and back is extra nice. The piece is in perfect condition. The vase is 9.5 inches tall and has a top diameter of 4.875 inches. Marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice off course) as well as the usual impressed numbers of this period. I do have a matching piece with a small flaw also up on the site if anyone is interested in a rare pair. Please email me for more information.

Price is $699
