Tischchenmuster Saucer

This is an 18th century Meissen saucer dating to about 1740. It is handpainted with the famous Tischchenmuster (little table design) in iron red, puce, blue, green, yellow and gold. The table is in underglaze blue with Imari type flowers all around and a nice design to the rim. The saucer is in good condition with just two tiny flat chips on the outside edge. It is marked underneath with the Meissen crossed swords marks as well as the letter E. on the footring and an impressed letter P (not a 6). The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
