Two Quails Pattern Teabowl

This is superb tea bowl / Koeppchen / handleless cup made by Meissen in about 1740. It is hand painted in the Kakiemon style with the well known two quails pattern that one can find on different makers of the porcelain world. It includes a flowering tree, a large flower as well as a small flower to the back side and off course the two fat quails in red and blue. Nice brown trim to the edge. Another flower to the inside the cup. Nice brown trim to the edge. Kakiemon colors of this period are some of my favorites and this is one very nice design! The cup is in great condition with a small repaired chip as shown. It displays perfectly! The piece is marked underneath with the crossed swords mark as shown as well as an impressed number.
