Scenic Cane Handle

This is a cane or umbrella handle made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is handpainted with a very high quality detailed Watteau style scene on the top part with nice gilding surrounding the scene and the hole on the bottom. It is in the shape of a ball and is in perfect condition. It was probably never used or used very few times. The piece is marked on the inside hole where it usually would not be visible when attached to a cane or umbrella but it is very blurry and cannot be clearly seen. But it is obviously Meissen. The handle is 1.5 inches in diameter and the inside diameter of the hole is 0.3125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
