Watteau Scene Vase #2

This is a really nice amphora shaped vase / urn made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is hand painted with a really nice Watteau style scene in polychrome in the front and a nice floral arrangement to the back - all on white ground. There is a handle to either side with some nice details to it. The handles as well as the edges of the vase have a bit of gold trim to them to make this a very elegant piece! And to make it even better I have the matching piece to make a pair if anyone is interested which I will also list on the site. The vase is in perfect condition which the most minor of wear to the gilding. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords on the underside as well as the usual other impressed marks as shown. First choice off course. The vase is 8.625 inches tall, 5.125 inches from handle to handle and has a top diameter of just under 3.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
