Parakeet Scene Vase

This is a large trumpet shaped vase made by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is hand painted with a superb bird scene on one side including two parakeets sitting on some branches of some sort of tropical plant. The back side has a hummingbird painted on it and there is a simple gold trim to the top and bottom edge. Really a stunning vase with a scene you won't find again anytime soon! The piece is marked to the bottom with the under glaze blue crossed swords with the pronounced hilts mark in blue as well as some sort of impressed number I cannot quite make out. The vase is 9.75 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. It is in superb condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
