Woodcut Flower Slop Bowl

This is an early 18th century Meissen bowl dating to the 1740's. It is handpainted with two larger flower arrangements in the old woodcut style so pre 1750, two smaller flowers, a tiny leaf on the outside and two flowers and a tiny leaf (these are usually to hide tiny defects like firing spots) on the inside. Gold trim to the top edge. This was most likely a waste or slop bowl. The bowl is 3.125 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the early Meissen blue crossed swords in underglaze blue and a painters mark of the letter S. The bowl is in great condition but I think the gold trim was redone which is certainly nothing major :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.
