Yellow Tiger Sauce Dish

This is a fun porcelain sauciere or sauce dish made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the early 20th century. It is hand painted with the very colorful yellow Tiger design on the inside as well as lots of small Kakiemon style flowers along the outside. Nice shape to the piece with two handles and a bit of gold trim. This dish is in perfect condition. It is 3.625 inches tall, 10 inches long and 6.25 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords with the dot between the top as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period and a puce painter's mark 15.
