Damaged Lid

This is a rare lid made by Mennecy in about 1760. Not sure what kind of pot it is for. The piece is made of soft paste porcelain and is hand painted very nicely with a floral arrangement to one side, a single flower to the other and a little leaf in between with a great fruit finial with its leaf to the top. Sadly it has seen bettwe days with it having been broken a reglued with a tiny chip at one end of the crack. The stem of thefinial is missing as well. Still a rare survivor and if anyone needs a lid it will display nicely. It's rare to see single lids like this so it's still worth hanging on to them. The lid is about an inch tall with a diameter of 2.625 inches. The inner foot ring that would sit inside the pot has an outer diameter of 2.25 inches.
