Pistol Grip Floral Knife #2

This is a fun knife with the handle made of soft paste porcelain made by the Bow factory around the mid 18th century. When I first bought it I thought it was made by Mennecy but after looking at it more closely that didn't make any sense so I did a bit more research and figured out that the cutlery handle was actually made by Bow. Rare to find a ploychrome example by them with the original knife blade still attached. The porcelain handle is hand painted with a nice floral design and has a four grooves to the paste. The blade is steel which is not marked and the ferrule is sterling silver. The knife is amazingly complete with the blade which isn't that common and it is still very sharp. There is some minor wear to the flowers which is normal on softpaste porcelain like this and the blade has a bit of oxidation to it as shown which is unavoidable. The ferrule is dented and oxidized a bit as well. The porcelain is unmarked which is the norm. The entire knife is 8.25 inches long of which the visible porcelain handle is about 2.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
