Damaged Pot de Creme Lid

This is a rare lid probably for a pot de creme ( lidded hot chocolate cup ) or possible a pot a pommade / fard which is sort of a lotion or ointment pot made by Mennecy in the 18th century. The piece is made of soft paste porcelain and is hand painted very nicely with a a larger floral arrangement to one side and a smaller one to the other. A great fruit finial with a leaf to the top though this would have had a stem and two more leaves by the look of it. Sadly it has seen better days with the missing leaves and also quite a few small chips to the edge. Still a rare survivor and if anyone needs a lid it is still better than not having one plus it could fairly easily be restored back to perfection! It's rare to see single lids like this so it's a nice opportunity to complete a piece that is missing theirs. The lid is about an inch tall without that underside ring and 2.25 inches in diameter. The underside ring that would fit inside the opening has an outer diameter of 2.125 inches so the opening needs to be at least that size or a touch bigger for the lid to fit properly. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
