A La Brindille Pot a Pommade / Fard Lid

This is a rare lid probably for a pot a pommade / pot a fard which is a lotion / ointment or makeup pot made by Mennecy in the 18th century. The piece is made of soft paste porcelain and is hand painted very nicely with a four floral sprigs in a lighter blue color and a blue design to the top of the finial. I think the decor is called a la brindille . The piece is is superb condition with no chips, crack, restorations, etc. Very slight discoloration from the firing along the edge. It's rare to see single lids like this so it's a nice opportunity to complete a piece that is missing theirs. The lid is about 1.125 inches tall without that underside ring and just over 2.625 inches in diameter. The underside ring that would fit inside the opening has an outer diameter of 2.25 inches so the opening needs to be at least that size or a touch bigger for the lid to fit properly. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
