Triangle Player Figure

This is a figurine most likely made by Mennecy and definitely in the 18th century. I have not found this exact piece but there similar pieces from an orchestra made by Mennecy so she fits right in. The figure is made of soft paste porcelain of superb quality. It is of a lady musician playing the triangle or she might just be a mom calling her kids home for dinner :) A very well modeled piece with her wearing a nice dress, a collar of some sort with her hair up and the triangle in her hands. Left in the white which was more sought after back then and more expensive as well as the flaws could not be hidden by paint. The figure is in superb condition with the very end of the stick in her right hand missing and a few black firing spots - the biggest two on the back of her head. She displays perfectly! The piece is not marked as far as I can tell but the underside is quite messy. There seem to be some faint black letters probably from an old collection or the original sale but I cannot make anything out. The figurine is 5.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
