Minton Chinoiserie Cup

This is a Minton cup in pattern 539, painted with a chinese boy. This lovely cup and saucer has the very appealing hand-painted pattern that features a variety of Chinese figures in vivid colors. Make up a trio if you already have a set, or match this with your lonely saucer. Gilding is in quite good shape. There is a one-inch very faint hairline from the rim on the side (might be impossible to see—the photo with the handle on the left) and a small area of crazing in the tree branches.
