Moabit Hunting Scene Plate

This is a plate made by Moabit in about 1845. Moabit was in Berlin and was founded by M. Schumann and son around 1835 and was around until about 1913. The plate is nicely handpainted with a hunting scene in the center including a hunter, a dog and a rabbit in a landscape surrounding as well as a nice gold trim on a raised design. The plate is in great condition with a tiny bit of gold wear and the brown color of the dog's spots flaked a bit though it just appears to be the way he should look and thus blends in perfectly :) The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 7.625 inches in diameter. It is marked with the SPM mark under a line in underglaze blue as well as an impressed H or soemthing along those lines.
