Reticulated Grape Scene Plate

This is a superb plate made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. A really nice example for this maker with a nice shape to it. The entire edge is reticulated and highlighted with gilding which is a stunning look but that in combination with the grape scene in the center is just amazing! There is a bunch of green grapes including the stem and leaves as well as a branch of flowering heather I believe. There are even the raised white enamel highlights to the grapes and elaves in some places to give it extra depth. The plate is marked with the shield and crown mark with Nymphenburg below. There are also some green numbers and letters as well as an impressed shield mark as shown. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.375 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with some chipping in an area of the inner foot ring as shown that does not take away from the piece at all. Only visible when turned over and only to the inside fo the foot ring so not visible from the side either. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
