Nast Roses Plate

This is a really nice plate made by Nast in the late 18th tp early 19th century. Nast was one of the top Paris area makers of this period and many of their peices were scenic in nature and fancier than this plate but it still shows you the kind of quality they made. It's a great looking floral plate! The dish is hand painted with three larger rose flowers including two blossoms or a blossom and a bud with their leaves and stem plus a single rose bud and butterfly. The rim has a green band over a gold ring design to it and the edge has a nice shape to it. It's a really nice looking piece! The plate displays perfectly but does have a small chip to the underside edge as shown. It is shallow and does not affect the piece from the top view at all. It is marked underneath with a partial Nast a Paris mark in red as shown. The piece is 0.75 inches tall and a touch over 8.75 inches in diameter.
