New Hall Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a New Hall “Boy and Butterfly” Coffee Can and Saucer. This popular pattern was transfer-printed in black outline and then filled in—probably by child labor—in dramatic colors. The saucer has several small glaze chips in the center, and the can has a firing flaw inside on the bottom. Otherwise, a wonderful set. This is a set owned by a good friend of mine.
