New Hall Pattern 467 Teapot

This is a New Hall Teapot in Pattern 467. New Hall supplied pattern numbers to many of its pieces, but usually no manufacturer’s mark, as on this teapot. The decoration--in puce, blue, green, red and black--joins flowers and ribbons in a very pleasing combination. The body and lid are molded with spiral flutes. This is not one of the common New Hall shapes, and comes from a time of experimentation when new forms were being tried, right around 1790 to 1800. The shape is illustrated in Donald Hall’s book, page 60. It stands 6 inches high and is in excellent condition with only one faint spider-web bump to the glaze. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $650
