Biscuit Fruit Seller Figurine

This is a superb figurine of a lady carrying some fruit (I think) in a basket over her head made by Niderviller in the late 18th century. This is the type of figurine they are famous for - the white biscuit, very detailed, fun pieces. The detail is amazing on this piece with a blanket covering the basket, a fancy dress and a nicely done base. The piece is solid being made of one solid piece of porcelain with no airholes - something quite typical of Niderviller. The figurine is in perfect condition which always helps :) She is not marked but she was certainly made by Niderviller. The figure is 5.875 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.375 inches. Sorry about the pictures the camera is still giving me issues! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
