Pan & Cherub Figurine

This is a superb figurine of pan and a cherub sharing a drink together made by Niderviller around 1800. Another one of my favorite pieces! This is about as neat a figurine as any maker has ever made with two of the most collectible figurines in one. Pan has a bowl in his hand while the cherub has his arms around him ready to give him a pek on the cheek. Nice grassy rock formation as the base. The piece is extremely solid and heavy being made of one solid piece of porcelain with one airhole underneath. The piece is in superb condition for its age with the cherubs left wing restored and a firing crack underneath only. Marked to the back with the raised word Niderville on a white rectangle. It is 6.25 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
