Girl w/ Rake Figurine

This is a figurine of a girl doing some yard work made by Niderviller around 1800. She is dressed in a colorfull outfit, wearing a typical cap of the period on her head and holding a rake in her hands. Quite a cheery loooking piece and it reminds me of Hoechst pieces of this period. There is the typical rock work as well as the gold trim on the base. The figure is nicely modeled and hand painted. The figure is in great condition with the one side of the rake bottom missing, two chips along the bottom back base edge and a chip to the apron in the back as shown. She displays superbly as none of this is distracting. As is the case with most of their figurines she is unmarked. The piece is 5.5 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.5 inches.
