Lady with Dog Figurine

This is a great figurine of a lady playing with her dog made by Niderviller around 1800. The lady is dressed in a very nice floral dress, is leaning on a basket with grapes in it and has her dog standing on his hind legs in front of her on a leash with his front paws on her left hand. Very nice and I think this was originally a Sevres model. The figurine is very detailed and painted nicely. There is the typical rock work as well as the gold trim on the base. The piece is extremely solid and heavy being made of one solid piece of porcelain. The figure is in great condition with the left front leg of the dog missing the front part, a small chip to the top edge of the base and a small chip to the bottom edge of the base plus an even small chip to the back bottom edge of the base. She displays superbly as none of these are distracting. As is the case with most of their figurines she is unmarked. The figurine is 6.125 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.75 inches.
