Lady w/Rake Figurine

This is a figurine of a lady doing some yeard work made by Niderviller around 1800. The lady is dressed in a very nice dress with a floral apron, wearing a typical cap of the period on her head and holding a rake in her hands. There is the typical rock work as well as the gold trim on the base. The figure is nicely modeled and hand painted. The piece is extremely solid and heavy being made of one solid piece of porcelain instead of pieces by other makers that have air holes in them. The figure is in great condition with the one side of the rake bottom missing and a sliver off the side of the base as shown. She displays superbly as none of this is distracting. As is the case with most of their figurines she is unmarked. The figurine is 5.375 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
