Large Lady Figurine

This is a large figur of a lady carrying baskets of fruit made by Niderviller around 1800. The lady is dressed nicely, is wearing a bonnet , has a basket of fruit in either hand all while standing on a nicely done base which is typical for this maker. The figurine is unusally large with some nice details and hand painted to perfection. There is the typical rock work as well as the gold trim on the base. The piece is extremely solid and heavy being made of a solid piece of porcelain without any airholes which is typical of this maker. The figure is in great condition with half a basket handle missing on the right basket and some chipping to leaves in the left basket neither of which takes away from this piece! One tiny chip to the base edge. Nice to have a pair of these as I also have the gentleman figurine! As is the case with most of their figurines she is unmarked. The figurine is 10.875 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 4.25 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
