Marked Scenic Plate #1

This is a superb and fairly early scenic plate made by Niderviller around 1775. It is hand painted with a superb scene in the center of a guy sitting on a rock ledge in a landscape backdrop. There is a house near him with another in the background as well as some water, smaller buildings and a large tree. I think the colors of their scenes are among the nicest in the porcelain world and the quality is superb! The rim has three single flowers to it and the edge has since indentations to it to give it that extra flair. The plate is marked with their under glaze blue CC mark under a crown for the Count Custine period I believe was from 1770 until 1784. There is also an incised mark as shown. The piece is 1.625 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. The plate is in great condition with some manufacturing spots as well as a firing line along the edge as shown. It was covered by some design on the frot side and filled from the back side at the factory. These things are not considered damage but manufacturing flaws. It displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
