Scenic Sauce Dish

This is a superb saucer dish / gravy boat / sauciere made by Niderviller in the 18th century. Never seen one of these so not a common item by them. It is superbly hand painted with a scene to either side including some buidlings in a landscape surrounding in their typical style. Nice puece and gold trim to the edges, foot and handle makes it look really nice. The dish is marked with a red script N mark underneath as shown. It is 4.625 inches tall, 9.375 inches long and 3.875 inches wide. The piece is in great condition with some firing flaws including a large brown firing spot on the inside, a little wear to the scene and the gilding along the spout part is mostly gone and the bottom scroll of the handle has had some work done to it. I assume the tip was broken off but the entire piece is painted over so it is hard to tel. It is nicely done and not obvious so it displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
