Scenic Cup & Saucer #2

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Niderviller in the 18th century during the Count Custine period. Both pieces are hand painted with a superb landscape scene with lots of detail in their typical colors and a gold trim to the edges and the handle. The details of the scenes are really nice and they include a building, some rocks, a person and some greenery. The cup is marked with their interlaced CC mark in over glaze puce under a crown while the saucer just has an incised mark underneath. The cup is 2.875 inches tall and 35 inches in diameter and the saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in superb condition with a touch of gold wear and the usual tiny firing imperfections in the form of black specs. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
