Central Scenic Medallion Plate

This is a superb plate made by Niderviller around in the late 18th century. It is hand painted with a well known design by them of a central medallion including a scene surrounded by a gold trim with a pink bow to the top. Three small floral arrangements as well as three tiny leaves to the rim and a gold trim to the nicely shaped edge. Even though this is a well known design for them this is the first time I have onwed a plate with it. The dish is marked underneath with the interlaced CC mark often confused with the Ludwigsburg mark as well as an incised letter S as shown. The piece is 1.375 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. The piece is in great condition with just some wear to the gold trim on the edge, one spot of the gilding around the central cartouche and some minor manufacturing flaws common to these early pieces. It display very nicely! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
