Scenic Plate #2

This is a second scenic plate made by Niderviller around 1800. It is handpainted with a superb scene in the center of a guy fishing in a landscape backdrop. Castle in the back with a bridge leading to a small house. The rim has three miniature scenes on it that are very nice and detailed as well. The plate is marked with a red Nid v. It is 1.125 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. The plate is in great condition with some manufacturing bumps here and there from the making.
