Musician Triangle Player Figurine #1

This is a great figurine of a lady playing the triangle made by Niderviller around 1800. The lady is dressed in an Asian style robe with a funky hat on her head. She is holding the triagnle instrument in her left hand and the stick in her right while standing on a nice base typical for this maker. The figurine is nicely modeled and hand painted. The piece is solid and heavy for its size being made of one solid piece of porcelain. Niderviller unlike most makers did not usre airholes during the firing process. The figure is in great condition with a top notch restoration to the triangle with overspray to that hand but it doesn't look like it was damaged. A small paint miss on her sleeve as shown. As is the case with most of their figurines she is unmarked which is almopst always the case. Not sure why they didn't. The figurine is 5.5 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2 inches.
