Marked Polychrome Figurine

This is a figurine made by Niderviller in the late 18th century. The figure is of a girl / young lady holding a sickle in one hand while standing on a typical base with a sheaf of wheat behind her. She is dressed in a nice outfit, wearing a hat while standing on the base decorated with rocks and green. These earlier peices by them are superb! They remind me a bit of Hoechst pieces of this period. The piece is nicely modeled and hand painted. The figurine is in great condition with a chip to the base front that is mostly glazed over so from when it was made. Another small shallow chip to a rock in the back. She displays superbly as none of this is distracting. This example is actually marked which is pretty rare as most are unmarked. She has the crossed CC mark underneath as shown as well as an old museum ID. She is 5.625 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.125 inches.
