Cherub Catching Globe Figurine

This is a figurine made by Nymphenburg in the early to mid 20th century. A model one does not come across often at all. Not entirely sure what it was meant to signify but it is of a cherub wearing a blindfold with a globe / earth caught in his net. His bow is lying on the base and his quiver is by his side. A plaque with the nymphenburg shield on it on the front of the net. A superbly modeled figure first designed by Bustelli in the mid 18th century. Left in the white to show off all that amazing modelling! The figurine is 4.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep. The piece is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the impressed numbers 626 over 3 and the impressed shield mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
