Polychrome Cockatoo Bird Figurine #1

This is a figurine of a cockatoo / parrot bird made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is really nicely modeled sitting on a tree stump with a branch with its leaves coming out the side towards the front and hand painted elegantly with nice colors. This is the version with the wings up against its body but I also have the other version on the site with the wings lifted up a bit if anyone is interested in a rare pair. The figure is super cute. Not a model you see very foten either which is a plus. The colorful plumage of the head feathers and the ends of the wings and tail are stunning! The piece is 7.75 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. Marked with the impressed shield mark to the underside as well as numbers 413a and 6 plus the green shield mark with the crown above and Nymphenburg underneath it and the painter's initials NB in red as shown.
