Hunter Riding Jumping Figurine

This is a figure of a horse and rider made by Nymphenburg in the earlier 20th century - 1930 to be exact. So almost a true antique! This is a model from the hunting series originally designed by modeled by Carl Gottlieb Lück for Frankenthal in the 1760s. The 18th century pieces are amazing but also impossible to find. They come in three different colors - red, green and yellow as is the case with this figurine. The hunter here is nicely dressed in a typical outfit. He is sitting on his white horse that appears to be jumping over an obstacle. The horse is modeled with a tree stump under it to support the figure during the firing process and a typical base with gilded scrolls all around. The figurine is 6.75 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches long. Marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the impressed numbers 1068 over 2 and the blue monogram CT for it being a Frankenthal model originally with the year mark 1930 under that. The figure displays nicely but the right arm has been restored and some of the paint is flaking off again, a tiny chip to his hat plus the reigns on both sides are missing parts as shown. Still displays nicely. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
