Pair of Hunting Dogs Figurine #2

This is a figurine of a pair of hunting dogs made by Nymphenburg in the earlier 20th century - 1930 to be more exact. This is a model from the hunting series originally modeled by Carl Gottlieb Lück for Frankenthal in the 1760s. The 18th century pieces are amazing but also impossible to find. These later redos from Nymphenburg are just as superb and highly sought after by collectors. One of the dogs has a white ground with evenly distributed black spots to it while the other is a more mottled grey color. Both are wearing a collar and have their front legs in the air as if jumping. Their bodies are supported by a branch coming off the base. The base has the typical ground design and color to it typical for this set of figurines. Gilded scrolls all around the bottom edge of the base. The figurine is 3 inches tall, 2.125 inches wide and 5.25 inches long. Marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the impressed numbers 1066 over 2 and the blue monogram CT for it being a Frankenthal model originally with the year mark 1930 under that. The figure is in perfect condition! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
