Jachenauer Tradional Clothing Figurine

This is a figure of a Jauchenauer gentleman made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. From a series of people wearing tradional costumes from the Bavaria area. Originally modeled by model of Resl Schröder-Lechner around 1940 this figurine is from this period. The gentleman is nicely dressed in a traditional outfit from Jachenau a city between Munich and Inssbruck. The outfit includes a nice green jacket, a red shirt peeking out from under it, grey semi length pants, a cane and a funky large hat. When it comes to traditional outfits this one really is pretty tame :) The figure is standing on a simple base with a light green trim to the bottom edge. The figure is 8.25 inches tall, 3.375 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep. Marked with the impressed shield mark to the front edge of the base as well as on the underside, the impressed numbers 830 which is the model number over 0 and the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath. The figurine is in perfect condition which is always a plus. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $799
