Lidl Original Design on Paper

This is an original template on paper that the porcelain painters did in watercolors before actually painting these on porcelain. This one dates to around 1900 and was painted by Emeran Lidl who is quite famous among porcelain painters. The painting is of a pair of irises in a glass bottle. It is quite well done and signed in the bottom left hand corner by him and dated 1894. I bought these from a lady that collected these designs and had quite a few of them but other than that I have almost never seen these outside of museums. The paper is 11.5 inches tall and 7.75 inches wide. I will eventually have these framed to show off on the wall. It is in good condition with a bit of staining one would expect on old paper and a little damage to the rim on the top. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
