Neptune Figurine

This is a figurine made by Nymphenburg in the earlier 20th century.Originally made by Franz Anton Bustelli in the 18th century and I own that original version as well. I really only bought this little guy here to be able to show the difference in quality between the 18th century version and the more modern redo. Quite interesting to see the differences. The figure is of the god Neptune who is holding a rudder in his left hand and a fish in his right hand that covers his private section with its tail. There are some reeds to the back and a seashell or something along those lines on the base. It's a great looking piece! The figure is in great condition with just the very tip of the handle in his hand broken off the top. Not obvious since it is flush with the hand. The figure is marked underneath with an impressed shield mark as well as the model number 245 over 3. The figurine is 3.875 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
