Blanc De Chine Blanc de Chine Miner Figure

This is a hard to find figurine of a Miner made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. The figure is of a miner wearing his work outfit - with a leather piece covering his rear end, a hat, a Tscherpertasche which is either a leather pouch or box used by German miners (Bergleute) for carrying tools, tobacco, or valuables and a Freiberger Blende which is a type of mining lamp. He is standing on a simple base. These miner figurines are very hard to find and this one here is really nice and in perfect condition. The figurine is 9.5 inches tall, 3.125 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep. He is marked with the impressed shield mark on top of the base in the front as well as underneath plus the impressed numbers 959 over 0 plus the green shield mark with the crown above and Nymphenburg below it as shown.
