Scenic Plate with Acorn Border

This is a plate made by Nymphenburg in the early 19th century. The center reminds me of the the scenes from the Pearlservice with the monochrome landscape with a house scene. That is surrounded by a gold ring and the rim has a nice acorn design on a matte yellow ground color with some gold rings around it as well. Really a top notch plate from Nymphenburg! The plate is just under 1 inch tall and 8.25 inches in diameter. It is marked with the impressed shield mark of the period as well as the usual impressed marks and numbers used around this time. This piece is in great condition with just a tiny bit of wear and two black line areas in the yellow trim that are from some kind of plate holder. Since the color is not glazed/glossy it tends to attract stains, etc. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
