Mannheim Bustelli Girl Bust

This is a nice bust of a young lady. I first thought she was made by the Rheinische Porzellanfabrik Mannheim in the early 20th century but that went bust real fast when I remembered that they only made pieces from Frankenthal molds. Then I though maybe Samson but their pieces looked different and wouldn't be marked this way. Same with Nymphenburg the flowers are more elaborate plus since it is their model they would not add the Frankenthal mark on top of their impressed shield. But the shield looks correct for the time around 1900 so maybe someone goofied up at Nymphenburg and made a mistake by adding the Frankenthal mark? No idea at all. Either way the piece is superb. A nicely modeled bust of a girl or young lady that has lots of detail to it and was left white to show it all off instead of covering it with color. Likely meant to be a bust of a child (I think the sister of Friedrich August der Starke aka Frederick the Strong) first modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli. The figure is 10 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. The piece is in great condition with a tiny glaze flaw to the back of her right should and a apot of glaze damage to the top of her braid that has discolored a touch. Didn't try to clean that but it should come cleaner than it is. The figurien displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
