Scenic Brooch

This is a small plaque made into a brooch made by Nymphenburg in the early to mid 19th century. It is handpainted with a landscape scene including two buildings and mountains in the background showing Schloss Hopferau in upper east Bavaria ( Allgäu ). It is superbly handpainted and quite rare as I have not seen one like it before. The plaque is in perfect condition and the frame is fine as well. It is made of 15 carat gold (no marks but it tested as such). The porcelain is marked in the back with the impressed shield mark as shown but it is ahrd to exactly ID which one it is though certainly quite old. The piece is just under 2 inches wide and just over 1.5 inches tall. The pin sticks out another 0.375 inches. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.
