Pair of Paris Animal Scene Vases

This is a pair of superb vases made by one of the Paris area makers in the 19th century. Each main body has a superb all around scene to it including two different animals with a hut of some sort - possibly in a zoo setting. The scenes are of top quality and very unusual for this type of porcelain. The rest of the vases has lots of gilding to it with a "pearl" trim to the top edge and a faux marble design base. Each vase is about 9.5 inches tall. They are both in almost perfect condition with virtually no wear which is amazing given the age of them and the fact that most of these have the gilding worn. So definitely something special. Neither is marked underneath - common on French pieces of this period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
