Bird Scene & Nice Trim Plate

This is a superb plate made by one of the Paris region makers in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is hand painted with a large scene in the center including a couple of ducks swimming in a pond with a larger duck flying overhead and a few tiny ones in the background sky. Some greenery in the foreground and a house and a landscape in the background. The scene is of a very nice quality and looks superb but my favorite part is the fancy trim around the well edge and the rim. The combination looks stunning! The plate is in great condition with some wear to the trim around the well likely from stacking and a touch of gold wear to the edge but it display very nicely! The piece is not marked but that is pretty normal for this period and area. It has three stilt marks from the firing process to the back. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter.
